Whistler/Blackcomb Ski Area opening early
_____________________________

16 Nov 07 - With 108 centimeters (forty-three inches - almost four feet) of snow, the Whistler/Blackcomb Ski Area north of Vancouver, B.C. is opening early this year. They’re opening for skiing tomorrow, Saturday, November 17.

They received 4 inches of new snow overnight.

Another 2-4 inches of snow is expected today.

Global warming, I guess.

Snow depths are measured at Pig Alley weather station.
