Colorado ski towns grapple with too much snow
 ______________________________________

18 Feb 08 - Officials in Telluride, Colo., say it will take two months to clear away the enormous amount of snow on the streets of the ski resort town.

The Denver Post said nearly 3,000 dump truck trips have been made this winter to cart off snow and the town is running out of space to pile up any more.

The Post said Telluride's plight wasn't unusual this ski season. The mountain town of Durango, Colo., in fact, has a pile of snow 10 stories tall.
