"Thank you Mother Nature!"
29 May 11
"Thank you Mother Nature!
Squaw Valley has just reached over 700" of total snow accumulation-- something that has never happened in Squaw Valley's recorded history," crows the Squaw Valley USA website.
So far this season they've received a total of 789 inches (65 feet, or 20 meters) of snow at the 8200-foot level, and 496 inches at the 6200-foot level.
And the snow is still falling!
Squaw Valley has received between 11 and 12 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours.
"I always wanted a Donner Winter and now I've seen one!"
