22  Feb 11 - Yet another major snow storm has dumped more than 10 inches of snow on the Dakotas, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and northern Ohio, leaving tens of thousands without electricity and forcing cancellation of hundreds of flights.

The National Weather Service had recorded 12.5 inches (31.5 cm) of snow at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport by Monday afternoon.

Other Minnesota towns fared even worse, with 17 inches of snow in Eden Prairie, 16 inches in Bloomington, and a whopping 19 inches (48 cm) in Madison in far western Minnesota.

Minneapolis declared its eighth snow emergency of the season, the most it has ever declared in a single winter.

In South Dakota, officials closed parts of Interstate 90 and I-29.
