Greatest snowfall in recorded history at
7 Feb 10 - Email from reader Kenneth Lund:
I checked the weather service snow report at the Dulles International Airport this morning, and all they have to say is that the 32.4 inches at Dulles exceeds the previous two-day record of 23.2 inches in 1996.
It also beats the old record by almost 10 inches. How come that's not mentioned? It doesn't look like there are any other records of mention before the 23.2 inches for Dulles in 1996.
Shouldn't this be called "the greatest snowfall in recorded history" at
that location? "
