Fixing non-existent problems

By the time they wake up, it will likely be too late to do anything....

Hi Robert,

I have been waiting for some comment from officialdom on the momentous snow in London, and when I heard it from the Lord Mayor of London, a chill ran through me.  The statement that there was no point in buying snowploughs when "scientists are after all telling us that the meteorological outlook is in general in the opposite direction" is precisely the sort of idiocy that I've been worried about.

While it's all bluster and spin about CO2 cooking us, the effect is to spend ridiculous amounts of money to fix a non-existent problem.  But when a real problem occurs which goes against the "wisdom" of the IPCC, no one wants to spend any money fixing it because the general public has been conditioned to believe it's just a brief aberration.

By the time they wake up to the fact that it's anything but either brief or an aberration, it will likely be too late to do anything....

Sad.
