A foot of snow for northern Arizona

8 Apr 11 - It may be spring, but winter storm warnings and advisories are in effect tonight though Saturday for parts of northern and eastern Arizona above 5,000 feet, including northern Gila county, the Mogollon Rim, and the White Mountains.

The snow level will start out at around 6,000 feet today, dropping to around 4,000 feet by Saturday night, with moderate to heavy snow expected by Saturday morning.

By Sunday, most areas will have received from 6"-12" of snow, with up to 16" in the higher elevations.
