5 Feb 11 - Here's an amazing (and sad) story from the Associated Press: The coldest weather in 60 years, coupled with electric power failures, killed many small animals in a Mexican Zoo.

It was +9 F (-13 C) in Aldama, Mexico, 200 miles south of Juarez!

Burr, that sort of cold is rare even in Portland.
