"One
of the worst weather months in my memory,"
3 Mar 10 - February's wild snowstorms caused havoc for the airline industry, says analyst. The bad weather will cut revenue by $30 million at US Airways Group (LLC) and $25 million at Continental Airlines (CAL). One expert believes the snowstorms will cost the airlines hundreds of millions of dollars in the first quarter. "This is certainly one of the worst weather months in my memory," CRT Capital Group analyst Michael Derchin told MarketWatch.
