Is the USGS censoring earthquake activity?

8 Apr 11 - There has been a BIG increase in earthquakes, says astrophysicist Piers Corbyn. "But (the) USGS is not showing actual observed new quakes."

A USGS record capture shows TWO Japanese earthquakes with 7.4-magnitude. They're at different depths, different longitude, 41 seconds apart, says reader Thomas McHart. The USGS displayed the information this way for 15 minutes.

Now the USGS shows just one earthquake, a magnitude-7.1, at a different depth from either of the first two.

Why the discrepancy?

This YouTube video displays multiple charts showing lots of earthquake activity in Missouri, Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky, while USGS records show nothing. The USGS is censoring data again, the video concludes.

Why the discrepancy? Is it just a mistake?

Why would the USGS be trying to cover up earthquake activity?

I don't get it.
