Snow drifts more than two stories tall

Amtrak "Train From Hell" Delayed Almost 24 Hours

6 Jan 10 -"The snow drifts were more than two stories tall," said an Amtrak spokesman. Train from Sacramento to Chicago delayed by "severe weather."

Amtrac has now suspended rail service past Minneapolis, and between Chicago and Denver.
