3 Jun 11 - "It looks like Mount Washington had another record year for snow fall and snow base," says reader Steven Rowlandson. For the second consecutive year, Mount Washington Alpine Resort will open the mountain to skiers and boarders on June 18 and 19. “We received over 19 metres (62 feet) of snow this winter, the deepest winter in resort history," said resort spokesperson Brent Curtain. "And we still have depths of up to four metres (13 feet) mid-mountain,” Curtain added.
