Lake-effect blizzard to follow weekend snowstorm

 11 Dec 10 - A new round of intense lake-effect snow and local blizzards are poised to slam downwind areas in the wake of a major weekend snowstorm, says Alex Sosnowski, expert Senior Meteorologist with accuweather.com.

An additional 1 to 2 feet of snow - 3 feet in some areas - combined with this weekend's snow could lead to at a snowpack of up to 10 feet in some locations and the danger of roof collapses, says Sosnowski.
