25 Dec 09 - "Here we go again! says meteorologist Joe Bastardi of accuweather.com. Severe cold looming for much of Europe first 2 weeks of the New Year!"
"The major population centers of the northern hemisphere are now facing cold of a variety not seen in over 25 years," says Bastardi. "The first 15 days of the opening of the New Year will be the coldest, population weighted, north of 30 north world wide in over 25 years, in my opinion. "
"Severe cold is likely to cause major hardship across much of the
continent."
