Hawaiian volcano pumping more lava than usual
into the ocean

5 Jul 08 - The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory said Saturday that Hawaii's Kilauea volcano is pumping more lava than usual into the ocean. Kilauea has been erupting continuously for the past 25 years.

The lava’s entry into the ocean can be witnessed from a viewing area a few hundred feet away on the southeast side of the Big Island.

               And we wonder why the seas are heating.
