That's far above the old record of 70.7 inches, set in 2003-04. The old record was broken almost two months ago, by Feb. 1. "Every place has been above normal, in some cases way above normal," said Don Simonsen, a National Weather Service meteorologist in Glasgow. "But not quite so much in counties south of the Missouri River."
