27 Dec 10 - Cucumber crop wiped out, eggplant, snap beans and peppers nearly wiped out, cabbage, sweet corn and squash all suffered heavy losses.

All this as Florida deals with yet another arctic blast.  

"When you begin to take into account all the people that are affected by those crops, you're looking at $250 million, $275 million worth of losses. There is a trickle-down effect that goes with all this," said Nelson Mongiovi of the state agriculture department.
