THE NEXT ICE AGE - NOW!

Geophysicist Dr Victor Manuel Velasco and astrophysicist Dr Habibullo Abdussamatov both think we're headed into a little ice age. I had the good fortune to meet both of them at the Fourth International Conference on Climate Change in Chicago.

9 Jun 11 - Last week I posted an article about Dr Victor Manuel Velasco of the University of Mexico's Institute of Geophysics, who maintains that we are now headed into a mini ice age. In that article I called him Dr. Herrera, a mistake that I have since corrected.

Yesterday, I received this very gracious note from Dr. Velasco:

The man has a sense of humor.

Dr Velasco also included press release from the University of Mexico, saying that current conditions on Earth are very similar to what they were 400 years ago when we recorded the coldest season of the modern era.
