Email from a reader in Sweden - 3 Feb 10 according to mr louis dirksen from sunnemo sweden januari 2010 was the first januari - month since 1826 with subzero temperatures in degrees celsius in stockholm sweden .during the whole month . Not one minute the temperature in stockholm sweden exceeded the zero degrees mark . This story was published on the dutch site janvissersweer.nl and with google it should be possible to translate the words into english much to my surprise this cold is not visible in the ice-maps of noaa with less in the botnic and baltic than in 1999 , when it was noticeably warmer . Did Noaa up the standards in the meantime in order to prove the agw-story ? Did not they raise the minimum for measurements from 15 to 30% and what about boats getting stuck in the ice around denmark en germany without seeing a sea-ice -area of any importance on their maps ?
