The astonishing claims came from Professor Peter Liss, the new boss of the controversial unit at the centre of the “climategate” storm which has faced accusations of massaging the figures to support the global warming cause. Professor Liss, acting director of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU), said that sceptics were endangering the lives of generations to come by making unsupported “assertions”. He also attacked those who believe that global warming is not man-made and branded their beliefs “very dangerous”.
So much for an unbiased search for the truth.
