"All rainfall records will be broken over the next two days," said Steve Anderson, forecaster for the National Weather Service, emphasizing that these month-long records will be shattered in just the first few days of this month. "Forecasters predict San Francisco will receive one to two inches through the weekend with the bulk of the rain hitting tonight and continuing through Saturday afternoon. The unusual influx of rain cannot be blamed on global warming, El Niņo or some other larger weather phenomenon, said Anderson.
