Another strong earthquake strikes Japan

Japan's meteorological agency measured the aftershock - the second major aftershock in less than a week - at a magnitude of 7.0, while the USGS ranked it a 7.1. The epicenter was just inland and about 100 miles (160 km) north of Tokyo. This article says there have been no reports of damage or injuries. However, a different article on MSNBC says the tremor shook buildings in Tokyo and a wide swathe of eastern Japan, killed one man, knocked out power to 220,000 households, and caused a brief halt to water pumping at three damaged nuclear reactors.
