8 Feb 10 - "The Obama administration is proposing a new agency to study and report on the changing climate," says this article in USA Today.

The article then immediately moves into hand-wringing mode, warning that climate change, "also known as global warming," threatens "to harm crops, spread disease,
increase sea levels, change storm and drought patterns and cause polar melting."

Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and Jane Lubchenco, head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, announced NOAA will set up the new Climate Service to operate in tandem with NOAA's National Weather Service and National Ocean Service.

NO! We do not need yet another layer of scheming bureaucrats plotting
new ways to control our actions and steal our money. NO! NO! NO!

The new agency, to be headquartered in Washington, will have six regional directors across the country.

"Whether we like it or not, climate change represents a real threat," Locke said Monday at a news conference.

Lubchenco added, "Climate change is real, it's happening now."

     They both call it "climate change." But you can bet that it's still based
     on the lie that humans are the culprits, and that they (the people who
     want to control us) are the only ones with the answers.

Creation of the Climate Service requires a series of steps, including congressional committee approval.

     NO! Call or email your congressman. This congressional committee
     approval should NOT be forthcoming!

     Oh well. They won't be able to do much about global warming tomorrow.
     Too cold, too icy, too snowy.
