15 Jan 11 - After temperatures in mountainous areas of northern Vietnam dropped to minus 4C, Deputy Director of the National Hydro-meteorological Forecast Center Le Thanh Hai said a new cold front will drive temperatures to minus 10C and even lower. Record low temperatures this year have frozen more than 7,000 buffaloes and cows to death in more than 12 northern mountainous provinces, said Deputy Head of the Livestock Breeding Department Nguyen Thanh Son on Friday.
